We have a Mixed group of both girls and boys, will they all be engaged throughout the science incursion?
Yes, definitely. We have perfected the exact combination of activities to keep both boys and girls completely engaged and having a great time. All of our entertainers have undergone an extensive training program, some are even studying teaching or have child care qualifications.
Can the incursion be completed outdoors?
Always have a wet weather plan if your event is outdoors. We also find that outdoor incursions don’t seem to work as well as indoor discos. Children tend to get easily distracted in big open spaces. If you really want to have your event outdoors we do have some regulations to comply with for our Public Liability Insurance. If your event is during the day, all the children need to wear hats, sunscreen and have regular drink breaks.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time (this is with an allocated car spot within 20 metres from the incursion location). This gives you an opportunity to ask questions or discuss any requirements.
When do the children have a drink or food break?
We always give the children at least a quick drink break in the middle but only if the incursion is longer than 1hr. We have found that it is best to keep all the children together and give them one central time for the drink break. This will keep them energised and focused for the duration of the event. Please let us know if this is not suitable for your event.
Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?
All the entertainer will need is a table at the front to conduct the demonstrations. Some of the activites require tables for the children, and some require a large open area. Please discuss these requirements at booking or booking confirmation.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved by the ‘Working with Children Check’.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
Yes. Your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your venue as possible. There is a lot of heavy equipment to unload (and reload) and we want the event to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your venue is located.
Are you insured?
Bop till you Drop Victoria has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance.

We had Bop till you drop for a 2 Hour Science party for my Daughter’s 8th B’day party. They are super easy to communicate with and can get you all setup very quickly. The host arrived on time and was very engaging. The Kids did not move from their seats for the entire duration. Definitely recommend getting them to lift up your b’day parties.
