Can I have my party outdoors?
To keep within our Public Liability Insurance guidelines outdoor parties must be set up on a hard surface and undercover (this is to avoid any potential incidents with equipment overheating, falling down due to uneven grass etc.). In saying that, we are happy to be outside but under a shaded, decking style area.
How many children should I invite?
For the best party atmosphere we recommend having a minimum of 15 guests with the ideal number hitting the 25 mark. We allow for up to 30 children.

For both a 1.5 hour and 2 hour party we have a 15 minute break half way through the party. If the children have already eaten we will still have a quick drink break to put the cool tattoos on the children.
When do we do the birthday cake?
To make the party as easy as possible, 10 minutes prior to the disco ending we organise all the children around the cake to sing Happy Birthday to your B’day child. Then, to allow you time to cut the cake in peace, we take the children back to the dance floor for one final song before they sit down and enjoy the yummy cake.

The entertainers require 1 table each with the disco table located somewhat near a powerpoint.
Do I need to do anything during the party?
Your only concern during the party is the food and if you have that ready for the break the entertainers will continue to take control, serving food and drinks so that you can continue to relax and enjoy the event.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Of course! A prerequisite to becoming a Bop till you Drop entertainer is registering for a Working with Children Check.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
To avoid the party starting late, we advise that you have an easy access parking spot prepared for the entertainer. With lots of heavy equipment to unload we need to ensure there is parking for them within 30m of the venue. Please note, where parking incurs a fee we would need you to validate that. Also, please ensure when booking you give clear directions on exactly where the party is located. It is also a great idea to stick a balloon on your front gate.
Worst case scenario, Are you fully insured in the case of an accident?
Bop till you Drop’s Public Liability Insurance is issued for $20 million dollars. We have a copy on file for any community or council hall that requires a certificate of currency.
What decorations do I need?
To be honest, after the lights are set-up they liven up the room to the point where too many decorations aren’t required. If you have a theme that you would like to decorate to suit, feel free but we recommend not having any free floating balloons in the disco area as they can often distract the children.
