Today is National Watermelon Day!
Watermelon has not only become on trend for kids party themes but for adults parties too. We share a few watermelon inspired party ideas we’re going tutty fruitty over.
On Etsy we discovered Winter Design Space who designed this gorgeous invitation which you customise with your party information, download and print.
Pastel and coloured balloons make for simple and effective buntings. Choose colours within the watermelon colour palette to tie in with the theme.

We found some cool watermelon themed plates, cups, napkins, party bags and foil balloons from various vendors like Fantasy Kids Parties, The Party Cupboard and House of Party.
Just because it’s a watermelon themed party doesn’t mean all the food has to be watermelon based. Why not incorporate some watermelon bowls and platters. These are ceramic watermelon bowls you can create when hiring Pinta Crafts, a mobile ceramic painting class. A unique and fun activity to do with party guests. 
Or decorate mason jars to look like watermelon once pink lemonade is poured into it.

Of course, you can include some other sweets like macarons, chocolates, cookies or cake pops. Keep them in shape of or within the watermelon colour scheme.

We had Bop till you drop for a 2 Hour Science party for my Daughter’s 8th B’day party. They are super easy to communicate with and can get you all setup very quickly.
