Is this party suitable for girls and boys?
Yes, the songs and all the games we co-ordinate are not gender specific. We always tailor the party to suit the age, gender and musical interests of the children attending your event. Therefore, if there are a lot of girls we will alter the style of the party to suit, same applies if there are all boys, mixed ages, etc.
Where can I run the party from?
You can run the party from absolutely anywhere you have internet connection, your computer, TV or iPad. We highly recommend the children have enough room to move around without running into anything for their own safety.
How many children should I invite?
Our virtual disco parties can cater for up to 100 guests, because you are not limited by space!
When do we do the birthday cake?
We sing Happy Birthday and cut the birthday cake 5 minutes before the end of the your event. The best approach is to organise the cake in front of the screen with the birthday child behind and we can co-ordinate a big virtual happy birthday song for them so they can feel nice and special!
Do I need to do anything during the party?
All you will need to do is ensure that your computer is set up and join the Zoom link we provide you. Please ensure your child is supervised throughout the zoom party. If you are having a cake, please ensure this is ready. If you have selected a Science, Slime or Plaster Painting Virtual Party, we recommend having all the ingredients and utensils set out ready to go so it’s easy to follow the instructions throughout the virtual party.
Where do I get the items required for a Science, Slime or Plaster Painting Virtual Party?
We will send you a list of ingredients and recommended utensils prior to your party. For the Science and Slime Parties we have chosen experiments and slime ingredients which are super easy, household items to purchase from the shops. For the Plaster Painting Parties we will provide you with the Plasters and paint for an additional fee per child.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes, all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved with the ‘Working with Children Check’.
What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?
Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance. However due to the fact that we are not in your home at the time of the event our Public Liability will not cover you if your child hurts themselves in your own home. Due to this we do ask for the dancing area to be clear of any objects which can potentially become trip hazards. It is also best to explain this to your guests as well prior to the zoom call.
