Bopper Park Parties FAQs – Sydney Wonder how you keep children focused at a park party? We have mastered it!

Will you be able to keep the children engaged in such a large outdoor space? 

Yes of course, our entertainers are extremely experienced in knowing how to keep little minds captivated. From the get go, the entertainer will advise the children the rules and guideline of the party, setting out of bounds and meeting points throughout the party. We have years of experience and have mastered a variety of games and activities that the children will love. Also, your entertainer will use suitable dynamics and tailor the party to best suit the children at the party.

Is this party suitable for boys and girls?

Yes, the games we play are not gender specific at all. We always tailor the party to suit the age, gender and interests of the children attending your party. Therefore, if there are a lot of boys we will alter the style of the party to suit, same applies if there are all girls, mixed ages, etc.

What if I have a mixed age group for the Bopper Park Party?

Not to worry, we can always tailor the party to suit the age group of the kids attending. The Entertainer will play games for the older children but will also make sure the birthday person is the star of the show.

What if it rains? 

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of placing the booking. If your event is cancelled or changed 14 days out from your scheduled date, full payment will apply. Every effort is made to reschedule your party should the weather prohibit it’s go ahead. In order to avoid these cancellation/change date fees we recommend you find a suitable hall you can book closer to the day.

How many children should I invite?

We suggest 15 – 20 children is the ideal number to create the best party atmosphere. However we can do parties with less or more, we will always cater the party to make sure all the children are engaged and having fun.

What time will the entertainer arrive?

Your entertainer will arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled party start time. This gives them adequate time to meet yourself and the birthday child, and also set up the equipment to be ready to go on time. This also gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any special requirements if necessary.

When do the children have a food break?

We don’t stop for a break with our hour parties, however we do make time to sing Happy Birthday around the cake towards the end. However, on the day if the Entertainer feels the kids need a break, we’ll stop the party half way through for a quick drink break. If you booked a 1.5 hour party duration, we always give the children a 15 minute food break in the middle.

When do we do the birthday cake?

We sing Happy Birthday and cut the birthday cake 5 minutes before the end of the party. We help organise the children around the cake, get their big voices ready and create awesome poses for super fun photos.

Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?

No the entertainer will bring everything they need to conduct the party.

Do I need to do anything during the party?

The only thing you will need to do is ensure the food is ready for the break. The entertainer will arrange the children around the table, assist on serving the food and help with drinks.

Are the entertainers ‘screened’?

Yes, all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved with the ‘Working with Children Check’.

Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?

Yes, in order for the day to run smoothly and on time we do ask for you to block a car spot as close as you can to the party area. This will avoid any unnecessary stress on the day.  Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where the park/venue is located and the best street entrance. It is also a great idea to have a small bunch of balloons, so the entertainer can easily identify you in a big park with lots of people.

What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?

Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance. We are happy to provide you with our Certificate of Currency should you require it for hall bookings, this way you will not have to pay extra for insurance.

Will the children participate in the party the whole time? Should I hire a face painter or jumping castle as well?

You really don’t need any other entertainment taking place at the same time as the party. Children love our parties, and will benefit from all the structured activities alone. Should you really want face painters or jumping castles, its best to schedule them before or after.
