Will you be able to keep the children engaged? 

Yes of course, our entertainers are extremely experienced in knowing how to keep all the children’s minds captivated. From the very start, the entertainer will advise the children the rules and guideline of the party in a fun and very positive manner. We want to get the best out of the children and believe that using positive reinforcements will accomplish this. Also the host will use suitable dynamics and tailor the party to best suit the children at your party.

Is this party suitable for boys and girls?

Yes, the experiments are not gender specific. We always tailor the party to suit the age, gender and interests of the children attending your event.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event at the time of booking.

What if I have a mixed age group for the Bopper Science Party?

Not to worry, we can always tailor the party to suit the mixed age group of the kids attending. Your host will make sure the experiments are suitable for the variety of ages present, while making sure the birthday child is the Star Scientist Apprentice on their special day.

What if it rains? 

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required within 3 days of placing the booking. If your event is cancelled or changed 14 days out from your scheduled date, full payment will apply. Every effort is made to reschedule your party should the weather prohibit it’s go ahead. In order to avoid these cancellation/change date fees we recommend you find a suitable hall you can book closer to the day if you are planning an outdoor party.

What time will the entertainer arrive?

Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled party start time. This gives them adequate time to meet you and the birthday child, and also set up the equipment to be ready to commence on time. This also gives you the opportunity to ask questions, give any special requirements if necessary for the day to run smoothly.

When do the children have a food break?

If you booked a 1.5 or 2 hour party, we always give the children a 15 minute food break in the middle. This is will discussed when you place your booking and with your host on the day.

When do we do the birthday cake?

We sing Happy Birthday and cut the birthday cake at the end of the party. We help organise the children around the cake, sing happy birthday and create awesome poses for super fun photos.

Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?

The only thing the entertainer will need is a suitable table for the experiments to be demonstrated on. The children can stand or sit around the table. Everything we need for the experiments will be supplied by Bop, except tap water. Please have a separate table for the children to have their food and drinks.

Do I need to do anything during the party?

The only thing you will need to do is ensure the food is ready on time for the break. The entertainer will sit the children around the table, assist on serving the food and help with pouring drinks.

Are the entertainers ‘screened’?

Yes, all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved with the ‘Working with Children Check’.

Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?

Yes, in order for the day to run smoothly and on time we do ask for you to block a car spot as close as you can to access the party area. This will avoid any unnecessary stress on the day.  You will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office directions on exactly where the venue is located and the best street entrance name.

What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?

Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance. We are happy to provide you with our Certificate of Currency should you require it for hall bookings, this way you will not have to pay extra for insurance.

Will the children participate in the party the whole time? Should I hire a face painter or jumping castle as well?

You really don’t need any other entertainment taking place at the same time as the party. Children love our parties, and will benefit from all the structured activities alone. Should you really want face painters or jumping castles, its best to schedule them before or after.
