Adelaide School Holiday Activities

We loved meeting all the children over a FUN filled two days at our Marden and Glenelg Pop Star Workshop held in May 2016. Thank you for coming and working so hard to put together our awesome concert. We are so proud of all of them! We hope the children enjoyed our Pop Star Workshop. We include, Dance, Singing, Drama, Crafts, Cooking and Science! Our Pop Star School Holiday Workshops are a great place to get plenty of exercise and meet new friends! We offer this program every school holidays except for the Christmas Holidays.

We meet all our new friends and find out about all the cool things we will be doing over the next 2 days. They learnt a cool song “Que Sera” by JUSTICE CREW

We do crafts, this one was lots of FUN making wind chimes for mum for Mother Day and they enjoyed coloring in their new pencil cases, at bit of magic and lots more !

We love a bit of FUN in the kitchen we made Lolly Pops!

We learn a dance  that we get to perform to our family and friends on the last day. For this program we learnt our dance to “Better When I’m Dancing” by Meghan Trainor

We also use our imagination and learn improvisation with our own Drama plays, the kids really loved this one called “The Slug who wanted a Hug” They enjoyed the costumes and making their own props and masks!

One of our crafts was making our own designer candles

Designer Candles: These candles were lots of FUN. We needed cheap plain white candles, some tissue paper, sharpies, baking paper and a hair dryer.
HOW TO MAKE :
The children drew their patterns on the tissue paper with some baking paper underneath so that it didn’t come through on the table. Make sure you remember that your pattern will be the opposite once its on the candle, so writing is tricky, once its ready wrap the design around the candle, hold it firmly on with some baking paper, with enough spare that you can hold it with your hands so that the hair dryer doesn’t burn your hands and heat the candle until you can see the tissue design melt into the candle and its done. Fantastic job everyone!

Recess and lunch times are FUN and relaxing, we get to know our new friends a little bit more.

We have lots of FUN inbetween with Crafts, Science, Cooking and PLAY. Our science experiment was all about how clouds are formed and rain!

Finally we perform everything we have learn’t in a mini concert to our family and friends.

At the end of the concert we receive our Certificates for all of our hard work!

A really great 2 days packed full of FUN. If your thinking of booking your child into one of our programs it will pay to book early, we only take small groups so the children get a better experience, so once we are full we cant not accept any more bookings.
